I am currently working as research intern in the Ubicomp Lab, HCII at Carnegie Mellon University. My present work is focussed on making machine learning more usable for people who wish to analyse and make sense out of the data available to them. My primary interest lies in user experience research and interaction design. I love to explore the gap between what machines are designed to be and how actually the users perceive them. I also like to study human behavior to derive interesting results from the underlying cognition and to analyze data. My masters thesis proposes a novel approach towards formalization of human computer interaction by delivering a simulation based quantitative measure to study evolving user models. Previously, I finished my bachelors in computer science and have worked upon different projects that combine various aspects of engineering, human factors, design and research.
